Barmore Insurance Marketing Associates (“BIMA”) is a managing general agency that will provide member agencies access to the entire standard Commercial Lines and Farm & Ranch Insurance products portfolios of some of the top national insurance carriers in the United States.

• Access to the competitive insurance products of the top-of-the-line insurance Companies, such as CNA Commercial Insurance, Central Insurance Companies, Fairmont Speciality, The Hartford, Travelers and Zurich Small Business, without the volume, staffing and automation commitments required to obtain direct appointment to represent the companies.
• Competitive insurance products that allow Associates to write new accounts that their directly-appointed insurance companies cannot handle, and more competitive products to help Associates retain their existing business.
• BIMA will target market to the appetites of the insurance companies and new niche or specialty products will become available for Associates in the future.
• A large-agency relationship with participating insurance companies through BIMA – excellent relationships with underwriters, preferred contracts, higher commission schedules, better spread of risk, potential for profit sharing bonuses.
• Training assistance to help Associates increase sales, e.g., sales training in the available products.
• Outsourced functions performed by BIMA to help the Associate decrease its overhead costs – BIMA’s professional staff will underwrite, market, and place the Associate’s qualifying business, most policies will be direct-billed and insureds can report claims directly to the insurance company via a toll free telephone number twenty four hours per day, 365 days a year.
• Independent ownership by the Associate of all business placed through BIMA.
